Welcome to Destin Wedding Photography.
Being the wife of a successful singer/songwriter in Nashville and raising two beautiful and talented sons was my first and most rewarding passion.
It wasn't until 2004, with the encouragement of my husband, that I became a professional wedding photographer in order to pursue my other passion, photography.
Both sons are involved in our wedding photography business now so it has become a family endeavor.
I always enjoyed shooting destination beach weddings in the Destin area and my husband loved it here so we moved our operations here full time in 2008.
Over the years, I've developed my very own style of non-obtrusive, romantic, photojournalistic wedding photography and have continuously upgraded my
equipment to what I felt were the best performing digital cameras and lenses available.
Experience and value are nothing if you don't like the photographer's style. I try to keep the photos real so I shoot a lot of candid and photojournalistic
style images. I still take all the family group shots and lots of couple poses but I also like to engage people so I can get natural relaxed photos, too.
Destin Wedding Photography's mission starts with a trusting relationship and I work hard to build trust with each of my clients. This is the only way to reach my
ultimate goal, capturing the real emotions of the day.
